The CFA Institute is proud to bring the 4.01K Race for Financial Fitness to Charlottesville, all to benefit JA of Central Virginia. This race supports financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs that teach young people the skills they need for a strong financial future. 100% of the race proceeds from sponsorship and registration benefit JA of Central Virginia.
Junior Achievement of Central Virginia inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. JA of Central Virginia’s volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students in our community to dream big and reach their potential.
In 2018, Junior Achievement of Central Virginia’s highly effective programs benefitted nearly 25,000 K-12 students in 142 schools and 24 districts in the region.
The event is a 4.01 kilometer (2.5 mile) run and walk – open to runners, walkers, adults, children and pets with their humans.
